  My sister and I are twins, we didn't go there to apply SSN, however,we got same SSN, when didn't realize this at first, when we apply a job here,they need our SSN and found we got same one. Then，we went to SSA second time, we told them we are not same person ，the guy who worked there told us he will send us a new one. These week we found we still get the same. I have nothing to say about their work.

  Long lines everytime you go. Get there early if you don't want to wait other than that you always accomplish what you went for.

  The people that are saying 5 stars must work at the social security because this place sucks! Better help and less time wasted in DETROIT at their social security office. Very slow and just to rrecieved a replacement card your stuck waiting for everyone else that has nothing to do with a card. They make you wait for all the people trying to get benifits when it only takes you 2 mins for a card. Seriously Lansing needs to do better

  I waited on hold for more than 42 minutes to report fraud. after that long waiting a person finally picked up and asked me what I needed. I told her what happened and I as immediately transferred to the survey! ALL of that time waiting on hold (while at work!) and then I still can't talk to a person? Unacceptable! I did not apply for retirement and when I logged in to change my pw after receiving an email to change it. My account showed that I had applied for retirement when I have not! This needs to be cancelled asap yet I am unable to get ahold of ANYONE. I don't have another 42 minutes to wait on hold again and waiting in line at the SS office takes too long too. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNACCEPTABLE! I have no idea how to handle this now!
